Hello my girls! I hope you all are doing great.
As we all know that festive season is already here. Like any other girl, even I am excited to dress up and get clicked during this time of the year. Diwali 2017 is just 3 days apart from today, so I thought why not to go for a fashion shoot and post it on the blog.
I geared up for the same thing and went for shopping. I accidentally bumped into the store of Aurelia at Pacific Mall, New Delhi. I was going through the kurtis and one fine lady helped me out with the dress. She game me this set and I bought it investing no time in thinking. And I guess the choice made by me was just perfect. I completely loved it.
So here presenting the pictures of the OOTD in this post.
I always believed in simplicity. I have always loved wearing traditional dresses as these portray our Indian culture beautifully. Isn’t it? I am so much inspired by the dialogue “Keep it Simple”. If you are not aware then I must tell you that this dialogue is from the movie “Happy New Year”, in which SRK deliver this dialogue in his own style. And on top of all this, if you following me on social media platforms, then you are aware that I am one of the biggest fan of Shah Rukh Khan.
Now let me get into the detail of the outfit I am wearing. The first thing that popped up in my mind was that BLACK color. I am obsessed with this color that I can’t resist buying it over and over again. In both the kurti and the skirt, they have beautifully used the detailing with the golden color. It is complementing the overall look perfectly. They have also used the shades of blues, purples and reds on the kurti, which further enhances the feel of this festive season.
The kurti is black in color with detailing in various colors (discussed above). The skirt is magenta is color, which again flaunts the gorgeous detailing. The best thing about this skirt is that it has elasticated waist, which fits very well. Coming to the dupatta, it has undertones of both orange and red colors. The dupatta completes the look in a ravishing yet traditional way.
I have kept the makeup very simple and elegant and not many products were used. For the accessories, I opted for a diamond ring, beautiful set of bangles, a pair of earrings and a pinch of that traditional gimmick. I chose comfortable pair of off-white colored block heels for that grace.
